एक रुपयाचा विचार करणार मन
आता हजार रुपयेही उडवु लागलय
छोट्या दुकानात घुटमळणार् पाऊल
आता ए.सी शोरूम कडे वळु लागलय्….
कारण
आता माझ standard वाढु लागलय…

पाणीपुरीचा आस्वाद घेणार मन
आता McDonald's चा pizza खाऊ लागलय्
कसाटा खाण्याऱ्या जीभेवर हल्ली
महागड Ice-cream विरघळु लागलय….
कारण
आता माझ standard वाढु लागलय…

"वन रूम kitchen"मध्ये राहणार मन
आता प्रशस्त flatसाठी धडपडु लागलय्
लोकलच्या गर्दित धक्का खाता खाता
आता Mercedes-Benz मधुन स्वारी करु लागलय्….
कारण
आता माझ standard वाढु लागलय…

जे मिळेल त्यात समाधान् मानणार मन
आता थोडं choosy बनु लागलय
स्वप्नात बघितलेल्या दुनियेला खऱ्याआर्थाने
आता प्रत्यक्षाच स्वरुप् येऊ लागलाय्….
कारण
आता माझ standard वाढु लागलय…

तसं तर् गरीबी आणि श्रीमंतीने
समानतेनेच घरी पाणी भरलय..
पण श्रीमंतिपेक्षा गरिबीमुळे जीवनाला
कसं जगायच हे कळलयं…
म्हनुणच ….
कदाचित मनाप्रमाणे अंगातलही बळ वाढलय….
कारण …..
आता माझ standard वाढु लागलय.
